Picross e6 (2013) After an entry with no innovations, Picross e6 comes up with a few. There are standard Picross, Mega Picross and Micross nonograms to enjoy, as well as special puzzles rewarding people who picked up prior games. Having access to a Japanese 3DS it was simple enough to purchase and play, but I didn’t get the bonus puzzles (another customary feature if you own e1, 2, and/or 3), and couldn’t easily read the puzzle titles, leaving some of the depictions unclear to me. Download PICROSS e9 (Translated) on hShop. Picross e5 (2014) Aside from the a new group of over 150 puzzles, Picross e5 doesn’t add anything to the series. Maybe the most noteworthy thing about this is that they, cruelly, never bothered to localise it and release it outside Japan. I was challenged by several of them, and the nonograms make up convincing pictures a lot of the time I can’t always say that about these games. A decent set of puzzles, mirrored in Mega Picross mode, a full suite of options and hints, and 3 “Micross” collages of famous paintings. At this point in the series it’s very very similar to e8. A Picross game for the Nintendo eShop, developed by longtime Picross devs Jupiter. Picross e is a series of nonogram puzzle video games developed and published by Jupiter for the Nintendo 3DS handheld game console. Honestly, I haven’t much to say about this.
